Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate ( born August 18, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) which she was a previous UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate was previously a Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was vice president for ONE Championship. She currently ranks in the top 10 in UFC women's bantamweight list at the time of her entry on October 3rd, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. As a teenager, she was a tomboy she frequently hung out with the boys in her community at the playgrounds.
